and creative programs around. In addition, we strive for the most competitive

First, we will assess your current fitness and commitment levels. We will
consider your goals and milestones and record where you want to be realistically
in a month, two months…etc. (i.e., lose 10 pounds in one month and tone up mid-section).
Next we will design a fitness program that is specific to your body type and
fitness goals. We will evaluate you at the end of each month using various tests
which serve to measure your progress. These will include body fat tests, blood
pressure readings, resting and exercise heart rates, circumference measurements,
and weight. We will then modify and change the program accordingly.
We offer flexible scheduling and recommend that you train at least three
times a week, depending on your goals. We will keep an organized portfolio of
your advancement and will motivate you to help meet your short and long term
goals. You need no equipment because we bring everything necessary. If desired,
we offer a 60-minute nutritional evaluation in which we will assess your current
eating habits, and make recommendations to help optimize your results.
My name is Jennifer Scherer and I grew up in Northern Virginia (Gainesville).
During high school I played first base for the varsity softball team and I swam
for the neighborhood and school swim team. I also taught swim lessons
to children in the summers and plan to continue when the opportunity arises.
During
my Freshman year at the University of Mary Washington I became certified as
an Emergency Medical Technician, and was an active member at Chancellor Volunteer
Rescue Squad for 4 years.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Mary Washington.
As a Certified Personal Trainer my goal is to work with people and make a positive
difference in their lives by combining proper nutrition with regular exercise.
I am passionate about food, family and helping people achieve their goals. I
enjoy the wonderful feeling I get after a good workout and wish to share this
feeling with others. |
